Obituary of Eva Powell

Eva PowellEva Jean Powell of Eugene died Sept. 20 of complications related to Alzheimer’s disease. She was 86. A memorial service is planned Saturday at the Santa Clara Church of Christ.She was born May 28, 1924, in Eugene to Loris and Eva Walker Inman. She married Archie Powell on June 6, 1942, in Elmira. He died Nov. 27, 1990.She graduated from Elmira High School and held an associates degree in accounting.Survivors include three sons, Dean of Lakeside, Steve of Crow and Chuck of Lewiston, Idaho; a daughter, Eva Powell of Eugene; a sister, Dorthy Cole of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Nancy Jo Powell, died previously.Burial will be at Bemis Cemetery in London. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
