Obituary of Nadine Hampton

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25 at Fairfield Nazarene Church in Eugene for Nadine Hampton of Eugene, who died Sept. 21 of age-related causes. She was 88.She was born March 25, 1922, in Pollack, Idaho, to Donald and Lena Getzinger Combs. She married Joseph Hampton on July 5, 1949, in Vancouver, Wash. He died on Oct. 10, 1999.She worked as a dietician in hospitals in Coos Bay and Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene. She also worked as a child care provider in her home.Survivors include three sons, Gary Fitzhue of Las Vegas, Craig Hampton of Eugene and Delbert Combs of Dillard; two daughters, Jolene Reed of Eugene and Joni Brooks of Elmira; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
