Obituary of Marie Evans

Marie EvansA memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Eugene for Marie Evans of Eugene, who died Sept. 24 of a stroke at age 82.She was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Eugene to Gustave and Eleanor Blais Devos. She married Wenzl Evans on March 19, 1949, in Eugene.She graduated from Eugene High School in 1945. She co-owned Billy’s Market, Oregon Sampler and Home Fermenter Center.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Susan Evans of Felton, Calif.; and two sons, Rodney of Portland and Bradley of Bend.Inurnment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
