Obituary of Vada DeRousse

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at Sorgenfri & Hawthorne Park Retirement Center in Eugene for Vada Marie DeRousse of Eugene, who died Sept. 22 of age-related causes. She was 79.She was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Broken Arrow, Okla., to Andrew and Dora Pitts Sisney.She worked as a trim press operator and a waitress.Survivors include five sons, Steve Boydston of Crane, Bill DeRousse of Everett, Wash., Greg Boydston of Eugene, Monty Boydston of Moscow, Idaho, and Danny Messer of Alaska; a daughter, Sonya Ash of Broken Arrow; a brother, Hershel Sisney of Broken Arrow; a sister, Essey Sisney of Tulsa, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Terry Boydston and Billy Boydston, and two grandsons Hopper Boydston and Joshua Boydston, died previously.Arrangements by Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene.
