Obituary of Arline Zientara

Arline Zientara of Eugene died Oct. 9 of age-related causes. She was 94. A private service is planned.She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Concord, N.H., to Percy and Helen Greene Hussey. She married Ben Zientara on Sept. 16, 1946, in Cincinnati. He died April 16, 1985.She served in the Women’s Army Corps during World War II, from 1943 to 1945. She took business secretarial courses and worked as an executive assistant at Liquid Carbonic in Chicago.Survivors include a son, David of Eugene; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son, Robert Zientara, died in 2004.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the Eugene Lions Club.
