Obituary of Verna Allen

Verna AllenVerna Jeanne Allen of Eugene died Oct. 15 of Alzheimer’s disease at age 86. No service is planned.She was born on July 10, 1924, in Lane County to John and Elsie Kimball. She married Max L. Allen in the spring of 1946 in Eugene. He died in 2004.She attended Eu-gene High School. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, Bruce of Eugene; a daughter, Barbara Zentner of Creswell; a brother, Bob Kimball of Eugene; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
