Obituary of Jean Weatherly

Jean WeatherlyA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Eugene for Jean Wilma Weatherly of Eugene, former 58-year resident of Elkton, who died Oct. 7 of age-related causes. She was 89.She was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Baker City. She married Floyd “Bill” Weatherly on Nov. 13, 1943, in Portland. He died Feb. 13, 1996.She attended Oregon State University. She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary to the supervisor and principal of Elkton Public Schools.Survivors include two daughters, Sharen Binder of Portland and Linda Mohr of Eugene; a son, W. Carey of Elkton; a sister, Adel Longmore of Portland; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Scottsburg Cemetery. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
