Bennie SchultzA memorial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Farmington Square Cottage “A” in Eugene for Bennie James Schultz of Eugene, who died Oct. 14 of age-related causes. He was 99.He was born April 12, 1911, in Centralia, Mo., to Fred and Gertrude Tanner Schultz. He married Jean Mackey on Aug. 29, 1940, in Portland. She died Nov. 19, 2009.He worked as a hunting guide for more than 34 years.Survivors include two sons, Rodney and Douglas, both of Eugene; a daughter, Deanna Thomson of Fortuna, Calif.; and five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
