Obituary of Dean Crocker

A memorial service will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at 97 Azalea Drive in Eugene for Dean M. Crocker of Eugene, who died Oct. 19 of age-related causes. He was 89.He was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Coburg to Clark and Lola Cochran Crocker. He and his wife, Bernice, were married July 1, 1951, in Eugene.He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and Korea. He worked as a pressman at The Register-Guard from 1950 to 1983.Survivors include two sons, Dale of Eugene and David of Fall Creek; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Inurnment at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
