Obituary of Mildred Cleveland

Mildred ClevelandA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Countryside Christian Fellowship in Coburg for Mildred F. Cleveland of Eugene, who died Oct. 16 of age-related causes. She was 85.She was born Jan. 11, 1925, in Newport to Carl and Catherine (Hall) Edwards. She married Frank “Steve” Cleveland on May 16, 1943, in Portland. He died April 5, 1979.She graduated from Eddyville High School. She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Davis of Coburg and Susy Boyer of Klamath Falls; a son, Mike of La Pine; a brother, Norman Edwards of Eddyville; four sisters, Ruth Olmstead of Coburg, Francis Sinnott of Seattle, and Grace Tyrell and Nina Edwards, both of Redmond; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A son, Danny Cleveland, died in 2000 and a granddaughter, Wendy Lanz, died in 2005.Private Burial will be at Eddyville Cemetery. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
