Obituary of Janet Martin

Janet MartinA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Janet Eleanor Martin of Eugene, who died Oct. 28 of age-related causes. She was 82.She was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Beaverton to John and Myrtle Johnson Felsher. She married Arnold Martin on July 19, 1959, in Eugene. He died April 15, 2001.She held a bachelor’s degree in education from Western Oregon College in Monmouth.She worked as a first-grade teacher in the Eugene School District for 28 years. She retired in 1985.Survivors include two sons, Scott of Veneta and Chris of Springfield; a sister, Connie Marshall of Las Vegas; a brother, Paul Felsher of Alameda, Calif.; and four grandchildren.Private burial will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.
