Obituary of Lola Short

LOLA MARGARET SHORTFebruary 7, 1920 - October 27, 2010Lola Margaret Short, died of natural causes in Sweet Home, Oregon October 27, 2010 at the home of her daughter Judith and son-in-law Tom Peterson. She was born in Las Animas, Colorado February 7, 1920 and continued to live in the area until moving to Toledo, Oregon in 1948 with her husband Sam Short and daughters Judith and Sharon. Lola and Sam moved to Corvallis, Oregon in 1993. Lola was a beloved wife and mother, a talented seamstress, a wonderful friend and always a gracious lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Sam Short, daughters Judith Peterson and husband Tom, Sharon Bushue and her husband Martin, grandchildren Scott Hansen, Karen Lucero, Shannon Cedergreen and Renee Cedergreen. and six great grandchildren .Memorial services will be held 12:00 Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Sweet Home Methodist Church , officiated by Rev. April Hall Cutting.
