Obituary of R. Dale Williams

R. ‘Dale’ WilliamsCRESWELL — The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for R. “Dale” Williams of Creswell, who died Nov. 10 of age-related causes. He was 84.Visitation will be from noon to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.He was born Dec. 2, 1925, in Oregon City to Stanley and Jessie Chin Williams. He married Sharon Moore in 1995 in Maui, Hawaii.He served in the Army in the Philippines during World War II. He worked as a dental technician and owned Eugene Dental Lab. He retired in 1995.Survivors include his wife; a son, Grant of Pacific City; a daughter, Cydni Cochran of Portland; three stepsons, Joseph Moore and Thomas Moore, both of Kenai, Alaska, and Michael Moore of Creswell; a stepdaughter, Kathryn Flores of Soldotna, Alaska; three grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Burial, with military honors, will be Tuesday at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
