Obituary of Rudi Schubach

FLORENCE — The funeral will be at noon Friday, Nov. 19, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Rudi O. Schubach of Florence, who died Nov. 14 of cancer. He was 77.He was born June 5, 1933, in Spokane to Oscar and Klara Feldman Schubach. He married Virginia Dawson on June 21, 1956, in Spokane.He served in the Navy in the 1950s. Before his retirement, he owned and operated his own businesses, including a car dealership, a RV dealership, a Yanmar dealership and three A&W restaurants.Survivors include his wife; a son, Kirk of Grass Valley, Calif.; two daughters, Karol Anderson of Vacaville, Calif., and Sandra Hutto of Cottage Grove; two brothers, Ed of Mapleton and Richard of Spokane; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
