Obituary of Marjorie Collins

Majorie CollinsA memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the First Congregational Church in Eugene for Majorie L. Collins of Eugene, who died Oct. 12 of age-related causes. She was 89.She was born March 8, 1921, in Lowell, Mass., to Frank and Mary Bates Webb. She married Thomas Collins on Sept. 23, 1950, in Seattle. He died April 18, 1968.She attended St. John’s Nursing School. She worked as a Sunday school teacher and was active in PEO International.Survivors include two sons, Dwight of Springfield and Wesley of Creswell; three sisters, Shirley Gardiner of Ferndale, Wash., Beverley Begley and June Callahan, both of Lowell, Mass.; a brother, Chapin Webb of Lowell, Mass.; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
