Obituary of Dorothy Van VLack

Dorothy Lucille Van Vlack of Eugene died Dec. 1 of age-related causes at age 83. A service will be held later.She was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Portland to Jesse and Lula R. Mitchell Kelsey. She married Jack D. La Fleur on Jan. 14, 1946, who later died. She married Charles D. Van Vlack in 1962. They later divorced.She attended school in Battle Ground, Wash. She was an office worker and a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Jack La Fleur of Portland and Gary La Fleur of Eugene; a sister, Carol Kelsey of Enterprise; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Dale La Fleur, died in 1953 and a daughter, Lynn La Fleur Gratteau, died in April 2010.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society.
