Obituary of Clarence Jensen

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Clarence “Red” Jensen of Springfield, who died Nov. 27 of cancer. He was 89.He was born Nov. 27, 1921, in St. Paul, Neb., to Christian and Elsie Miller Jensen. He married Erma Olsen in June 1979 in Reno, Nev.He served in the Army during World War II. He worked as an auto mechanic.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sandy King of Eugene; four sons, Butch and Ron, both of Nevada, and Garry and Randy, both of New Mexico; a sister, Hazel Burnett of Arizona; a brother, Bob of Montana; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.A private inurnment will be held at the funeral home. Remembrances to Cascade Hospice in Eugene.
