Shirlee BoydShirlee Rae Higgins Boyd of Eugene died Dec. 4 of age-related causes. She was 88. No service is planned.She was born Nov. 16, 1922, in Coronation, Alberta, to Naglee and Lana Stocking Higgins.She earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Oregon. She served in the Navy during World War II and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. She worked as a full cycle bookkeeper.Survivors include a daughter, Lana Rosenthal of Eugene; and three grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
