Benjamin TemanSPRINGFIELD — A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at Calvary Open Bible Church in Springfield for Benjamin Frederick Teman of Springfield, who died Dec. 7 of age-related causes. He was 81.He was born June 13, 1929, in Grants Pass to Fred and Lois Phillips Teman. He married Wilberta Cox on May 14, 1956, in Grants Pass.He served in the Army during World War II, He worked as a truck driver and worked on other duties for Southern Pacific Railroad in Eugene from 1954 to 1994.Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Loretta Bateman on Eugene, Carrie Landing of Prineville and Angela Rupe of Springfield; a son, Russell of Eugene; two brothers, Lyle of Eugene and Glen of Springfield; a sister, Dorthy Bailey of North Carolina; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A daughter, Susan Teman, died in 1975.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
