Obituary of Raul Ramos

Raul RamosRaul “Ralph” Nodal Ramos of Eugene died Dec. 17 of age-related causes at age 85. Services are to be held in California.He was born July 1, 1925, in Hayden, Ariz., to Geranimo and Rafaela Nodal Ramos. He married Rita Chavez Romero on Nov. 12, 1950, in Stockton, Calif. She died March 19, 1996.He attended school through the sixth grade. He served on the USS North Carolina in the South Pacific during World War II. He worked for Western Pacific Railroad as a railcar inspector.Survivors include his domestic partner, Ina Moreno; a daughter, Loretta Ramos Gonzales of Eugene; a sister, Dolores Martinez of Stockton; and three grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
