Obituary of Neta Reetz

Neta Maxine Reetz of Eugene died Dec. 17 of age-related causes at age 87. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.She was born March 21, 1923, in Neosho, Mo., to James and Dewey Smith Myers. She married Donald Jessie Reetz on Feb. 14, 1969, in Eugene. He died May 17, 2009.She worked at a retail store and at a book warehouse in Alaska, and she cooked for commercial fishermen in Alaska.Survivors include two daughters, Renna Hass of Cottage Grove and Colleen Brock of Tahoe City, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Floyd of Junction City; three stepsons, Larry of Eugene, and Dave and Kelly, both of Lebanon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Rest Lawn Cemetery at Junction City. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to Cascade Hospice.
