Obituary of Lori Hockett

MONROE — Lori Jeanne Hockett of Monroe died Dec. 17 of complications from cancer at age 51. A celebration of life will be held later.She was born May 21, 1951, in Corvallis to Charles and Doralene Thompson Putney. She married Richard Hockett Sr. on April 22, 1981, in Winnemucca, Nev. He died July 18, 2003.She graduated from Monroe High School in 1977 and attended Linn-Benton Community College. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her mother; a daughter, Ronaka Hockett of Monroe; a son, Richard Jr. of Oak Harbor, Wash.; and two sisters, Merri Putney-Brooks and Traci Putney-Eastland, both of Monroe.Burial will be at the Bellfountain Cemetery in Bellfountain. Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
