Obituary of Stella Larson

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at West Lawn Funeral Home for Stella Alida Larson of Eugene, who died Dec. 18 of age-related causes. She was 87. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.She was born Nov. 5, 1923, in Griggs County, N.D., to Peter and Anna Stromme Aalgaard. She married Ira Leonard Larson on Feb. 23, 1944, in Moorehead, Minn. He died May 5, 1999.She was a high school graduate and a homemaker.Survivors include two sons, Leonard of Florence and Jerome of Eugene; a daughter, Audrey Bettger of Florence; a brother, Albert Aalgaard of Eureka, Calif.; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
