Obituary of Donald Foster

VENETA — Donald E. Foster of Veneta died Dec. 27 of complications following surgery. He was 70. No service is planned.He was born Jan. 4, 1940, in Kendrick, Okla., to Eugene and Mary Williams Foster. He married Geraldine Melkos on March 23, 1957, in St. George, Utah. She died previously.He worked for 45 years as a welder and sheet metal layout developer for Del Mar Avionics.Survivors include a daughter, Terri Henry of Veneta; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.
