Obituary of Laura Laws

Laura LawsA memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at First Church of the Nazarene for Laura L. Laws of Eugene, who died Dec. 22 of acute renal failure. She was 98.She was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Baker City to Earl and Euphema Young Smith. She married Harold M. Laws on Feb. 24, 1934, in Grants Pass. He died in 1993.She graduated from Baker City High School. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Lana Mahoney of Eugene; a sister, Adele Raber of Fossil; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be next spring at Woodville Cemetery at Rogue River. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
