Obituary of Evelyn Wade

Evelyn WadeA graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Roseburg Memorial Gardens for Evelyn Paxton Wade of Eugene, who died Jan. 4 of age-related causes. She was 87.She was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Tyrone, N.M., to James and Dora Reeves Paxton. She married Jackson Wade in Baird, N.M. He died July 13, 1991.She graduated from the El Paso School of Nursing in Texas. She worked as a pediatric nurse at Oakway Pediatrics for more than 40 years.Survivors include a son, James of Eugene; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son, William “Randy” Wade, died in 1964.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to Garden Valley Church of Christ in Roseburg.
