Barbara Terry-StantonA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Barbara J. Terry-Stanton of Brookings, formerly of Eugene, who died Dec. 23 of age-related causes. She was 75. A reception will follow the service at the Eugene Elks Lodge.She was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Denver to Joseph and Catharine Feuerstein Beidler. She married Richard Richichi in 1951 in Stockton, Calif. They later divorced. She married Frank Terry on Jan. 5, 1958, in Stockton. He died March 1, 1994. She married Thomas Stanton on Feb. 14, 1998, in Norwalk, Ohio.She was a rancher and a farmer and worked as a nurses’ aide.Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Richichi of Eugene; a daughter, Patricia Blasdell of Brookings; a sister, Caroline Gudjonsson of Fountain, Colo.; five grandchilden; and five great-grandchildren.Remembrances to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.Barbara J. Terry-Stanton was born October 28, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Joseph Beidler and Catharine Fuerstein-Beidler. Barbara passed away in Medford, OR on December 23, 2010 from a long term illness. Services to celebrate her life will be held Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at Musgrove Funeral Home in Eugene. In 1951, Barbara married Richard Richichi in Stockton, CA and they had two children. They later divorced. In 1958, she married Frank Terry, who passed away in 1994. On Valentine's Day in 1998, Barbara married Tom Stanton, in Norwalk, OH. Barbara was a farmer and rancher in Lathrop, CA for many years before retiring to Brookings, OR. Barbara Terry Boulevard now stands at the site of the old family ranch in Lathrop. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with Tom across the United States and abroad. She is survived by her husband, Tom Stanton of Brookings, two children and their spouses, Gary and Vicky Richichi of Eugene, Patricia and Steve Blasdell of Brookings, and a sister, Carolyn Gudjonsson, of Fountain, CO. Barbara cherished her five grandchildren: Kim White of Brookings; Greg, Randy and Christina Richichi of Eugene; and Monte White of CA; and her five great-grandchildren: Aleia and Anthony White, and Sofia, Dominic and Bellamarie Richichi.
