Our sincere condolences to All in the passing of Daisy Gregg. With thoughts of Peace and Courage to You. I had worked in the Winnipeg Fire Department as the Chief Clerk when Mr. Gregg worked there as well. After his passing, I was able to help Mrs. Gregg when she called and asked for assistance.
God Bless All.

Looking at her photo just now reminds me with what joy she would recall how Alex, her big brother would tease her and carry her around piggy-back. Aunt Daisy loved to tell family stories and never ceased to amaze us with her memory of dates of birthdays and weddings etc.Thank you Daisy for our family memories in Freeport. Love from the Copeland Clan.

Lorie & Julie, I am so sorry to hear about your dear mother. She had an incredible memory, a love of life and she lived in the moment. I believe she is now in heaven where she has no more pain and not confined to a bed anymore. May you take comfort in the fact that she lived life well.

Very saddened to learn of the passing of your mother. Daisy was a great person to know as we were all growing up back in the old days in Fort Garry. Hard to believe that 45 years has gone by already for all of us. Celebrate the good memories that you all cherished over the years and remember to look out for each other, like the old days.

Aunt Daisy brightened the world and made everyone, family and friends alike, feel loved, respected and appreciated. Though we haven't seen her in many years, we will always remember the time we spent with her in Winnipeg on our trip west. Even our children remember her as being "very sweet", as indeed she was. Heaven will be a brighter place for her presence there.

Jules and Lorie, my condolences to the entire family. It is with great fondness that I recall her visits to Calgary and some of the wheelchair episodes with us trying to get both "Mom" and her wheelchair into your truck. The mischevious twinkle in her eyes while she regaled me with stories, especially of her beloved, Freeport will remain with me.

While I did not see "Aunt Daisy" in recent years, I distinctly remember her as a little grey-haired lady with sharp wit, colourful language and taste for cigarettes and alcohol - a perfect foil to my more conservative family. She wheeled into retirement like a teenager with a new car (and tickets to the Bahamas). While those closest to her will remember her recent sufferings, I hope they also remember the joy of life she shared when she travelled. I remember her fondly.
