Marcel was born in St. Malo, MB June 24, 1935. He worked at many jobs including MTS and plumbing before training as a firefighter in 1962 and working for D.N.D. as a firefighter at C.F.S. Gypsumville. In 1979 he suffered a heart attack and was not able to continue in the job he loved so he re-trained and work at the power plant. In 1986 they moved to Brandon where he worked at C.F.B. Shilo until his retirement in 1995.
Marcel loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. One of his great joys was fishing or hunting with his children and grandchildren. Or just sitting around with the family talking and telling stories – he had a million of them. We will miss hearing them.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
We love you.
