Everett CollinsSPRINGFIELD — A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13 at Springfield Memorial Gardens for Everett Richard Collins of Springfield, who died Jan. 9 of age-related causes. He was 91.He was born in Missouri on March 2, 1919, to Lev and Isabelle Oaks Collins.He married Flora Collins in 1942 in West Plains, Mo.; they later divorced.He attended high school in West Plains and worked as a logger, mechanic and welder and for the city of Eugene.He is survived by six daughters Marilynn Kuykendall, Sharon Trupp and Sandra Walton of Eugene, Katherine Cavett and Pat Devine of Springfield and Tina Fountain of Cottage Grove; a son, Ray of Springfield; 28 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.His daughter Donna Hisey, two grandsons and two granddaughters died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
