I was so sad to hear about Sharon. I met her when we were both in CAP last fall. She was everything mentioned in her obituary and more. I am glad that you talked about her struggles with her illness. It certainly makes life more challenging, but people like Sharon made it more bearable. My condolences.

My name is Finn. Sharon was my mummys friend. We had ice cream in the summer. I'm angry with mummy for not letting me come to the funeral. She said I can say I'm sorry you died here.
Mummy promised me we can go to the same ice cream place and have the same cone and remember her there.
I'm sad we can't have ice cream again. She told me funny stories about mummy when she was a teenager.
bye

The Mitchells - I am so very sorry for your loss. Sharon was my swimming teacher (adult lessons) years ago - she was so much fun and very encouraging to everyone. I still look at the funny comments she would write on our swimming certificates and they make me smile. She was a very special person. Deepest sympathy to you all.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of Dear Sharon. Sharon was a wonderful caring person, I will never forget the time we got snowed in in Portage, years ago, at McDonalds coming back from a Bluefins Swim meet when she was Coach. We spent hours playing cards and scrabble with the kids, driinking McDonalds coffee!! She was a wonderful caring, compassionate person . Great with the kids on the swim team and with the kids at the YMCA too. Sharon will be missed by many. Another Angel got has her wings and will now be watching from above. God Bless Sharon and her family.

dear sharon ~
i see your smiling face and i smile. i am reminded of a friend who learned how to swim, learned how to be a lifeguard and learned how to teach others the joy of the water. i so enjoyed those days of lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons with you. you were always such a bright spot in the day and cared so much for the kids. your compassion and leadership at the pool was truly admirable.
i am deeply saddened for your family and friends who will miss you so ...
rest in peace ~ may you swim with angels.
sincerely,
aeleen

I will always remember Sharon for her love and compassion for the Residents she visited at our home. On her good days she was larger than life and had such ambition and great plans for her life and for those she cared about. I am so blessed that I was given the opportunity to know this wonderful lady and to be part of those good days. God Bless you and rest in peace Sharon.
