A complete transcript of an interesting conversation I had with CBS analyst Bill Cowher Tuesday at an event to promote the network's coverage of SB47:First, I asked Cowher whether with all of the openings around the league he was tempted by any of them. He said this: No, no, no, no. Hey, we have the Super Bowl. All these coaches are trying to get there. I know I'm going to be...

Laurie and Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your dad. I remember him for my time at B.U. and when we where friends at Neelin. My own father passed away last October, and my sister's partners mom just recently passed. As I was looking at the recent obituaries to send a condolence to Garth, your dads was still listed and I thought I should acknowledge. I always amazes me to read peoples life stories, their roots, and life choices to bring them to where and who they have become. Remember him fondly. Take care..........your high school friend Mary-Anne

I was indead saddened by Cliff's passing. It was always apparent that he enjoyed his progession. He was not only a professor but also a mentor and friend. He was a huge help to me when I was moving from the small town to the big city my first year of university. He was always approachable on any issue you may have. He often spoke to me fondly and proudly about his family. I can vividly imagine him swaying to jazz and blues. I have very fond memories. My sincere condolences to his family

Dr. Anderson was an engaging professor and I was fascinated with his farm roots when he first told me of his upbringing. As a first year student at the time, his encouragement helped me transition to the 'big city'.
I will never forget his pre-exam 'pencil-taped-to-his-forehead' sub-conscious reminder...absolutely classic.
My condolences to the family and my respects to Dr. Anderson upon my travels through Lucky Lake.

I was so sad hearing of the passing of Cliff. I was a student at Brandon University in 1971-72 and had Dr. Anderson as a professor in psychology courses. He was a great and entertaining professor. That classromm was his stage.
In 1974, I became the men's basketball coach and got to know Cliff much better.
He always told me stories about doing his doctorate at the University of Utah and watching Running Utes basketball.
He always had a big smile and warm words of greeting and encouragement for me.
He was a great man and will be forever missed at BU and in the Brandon community.

Dr. Anderson taught me at BU from 1973 to 1976 . He was always available to help students when needed . I always felt engaged when he spoke to me. It is people like him that have made me pleased I attended Brandon University .
I had the pleasure of hearing about his year in Africa when he returned in my last year.
My thoughts go out to the family

One of the most beautiful obituaries I have yet read, yet it is still difficult to describe a man like Cliff. I count him as one of those rich rewards one gains as we wander through life.
