Dear Kruschel Family,
My name is Lori and I am a volunteer at Rideau Park. My deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
I started volunteering at Rideau this past winter and met "My Joy" the first day. We bonded and I visited with her a few mornings a week. She talked of you all often and I feel like I know some of you. She was very proud of her family. We did some painting together and some crafts and she really enjoyed it. I think I enjoyed my time with her even more then she did! I was quite saddened to hear of her sudden loss. I was on my way to paint with her that morning when I got the call. Being at Rideau now will never be the same without seeing "My Joy" and her bright blue eyes.
I just wanted you to know how special your Mother was to me. It was an honour to know her and I am missing her and think of her often. I cannot fathom your great loss and I send my heartfelt prayers to all of you.
Sincerely,
Lori Hildebrand
