Obituary of Mildred Texley

A memorial fellowship will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Harrisburg Christian Church for Mildred Minerva Texley of Junction City, who died Jan. 15 of age-related causes. She was 93.She was born June 16, 1917, in Wood River, Neb., to William and Edna Siverly Graham. She married Clark Texley on Jan. 13, 1936, in Mankato, Kan. He died in January 1985.She was a homemaker and worked in retail and assisted in the family business, Texley’s Jewelers.Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Wagner of Vancouver, Wash.; three sons, Clark Jr. of Harrisburg; Jerry of Marcola and Neil of Bend; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A grandson, Cody Texley, died previously.Inurnment will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene.Remembrances may be sent to Junction City Rural Fire Department or Viking Sal Senior Center in Junction City.
