Obituary of Marybelle Johnson

Marybelle JohnsonCRESWELL — The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at General Assembly and Church of the First Born in Goshen for Marybelle Johnson of Creswell, who died Jan. 25 of age-related causes. She was 83. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.She was born April 28, 1927, in Bethany, Okla., to Mack and Lola Bonham Young. She married LeRoy McCoy on June 6, 1943, in Reno, Nev. He died April 9, 1964. She married Troy Johnson on Feb. 18, 1978, in Tulare, Calif. He died Oct. 8, 1983.She attended the Outside Creek School in Farmersville, Calif. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, Douglas McCoy of Creswell; three daughters, Roxene Wilson of Tulsa, Okla., Diane Dihel of Creswell and Mary Hamm of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Burial will be at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery.
