Dear Jake, Jaclyn, Travis and your families, I only just learned about Linda's passing. I'm so very sorry for your loss, and for mine. Linda came into my life about 30 years ago, when she became a mentor for me as I began my journey working with young children. Her wisdom and compassion for children has inspired and guided me throughout the time I have worked with children. It sounds like she has provided mentorship for others in their careers working with children as well. It must seem like she is gone too soon, but as you know, Linda would never abandon her loved ones. I'm sure she is watching over you from a higher realm, trying to ease your sorrow. And she will celebrate your joys to come with you as you hold her in your heart. She loved all of you deeply. I will hold her in my heart too, and keep the memory of her friendship close. I wish you all the peace of knowing that she is only ever a thought away. Debbie Ott

Our love and hugs go out to you at this time. I have many memories of Linda when she helped my daughter in daycare get ready for school. Her patience and love passed all understanding. I also remember when Jacylyn babysat for my girls. She was a very loving and caring person, she will be missed by all.

I have a heavy heart while sending my condolences. Linda was a wonderful person. She was my boss, yet she was more than that. She saw my potential in me before I saw it myself and encouraged me to do more. She had a huge heart and a gentle soul. She will be missed by many.

Our deepest condolences to Linda's family. You will miss her so much forever. I am heartbroken to have lost such a dear friend of over 40 years. I will miss our phone chats where we'd catch up with each other every few weeks. She was one of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever known with never an unkind word about anything or anyone. I'm so sorry that she will not see her precious grandchildren grow up which was one of the last things she shared with me. May you hold fast to your wonderful memories of a very special Mother. I will miss her always.

I first met Linda when I was working in a Day Care Center and then I had the privilege of working with her in Child Development. She was a lady at all times and a truly lovely person to not only have as a work mate but as a friend. To her family I send my deepest condolence and a heartfelt thank you for sharing your Mom, and Wife, with both myself and all those who knew her. May your memories keep her close in your hearts.

Sending my deepest condolences to Linda's children, family and friends. From the day I met Linda (at my job interview for Child Development), she became the person that I most looked up to in my career. She was always positive and always reassured me saying "Sandy, you can do this and you'll do just great!"
I thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent together while heading out to meet families, during our meetings and all of our get-together's. Leaving Child Development was a difficult decision for me, but as always, Linda was there to encourage me. I will always remember the conversation we had when I told her I was considering a new career path. She said, "Sandy, you will be trail blazing, but if anyone can handle it, it's you." I know I didn't believe in me nearly as much as she did, but because of her, I took the chance.
I am grateful to have known such an incredible lady. My heart breaks as I think of the world without Linda in it.
