Lynda and John, John, Dennis and Sylvia and Florence and families. Our sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of a very remarkable and special lady. Her large extended family was everything to her and for a petite lady her heart was huge enough to welcome in all friends, too (and sometimes their horses!). She leaves a legacy of grace, respect and acceptance; a life well-lived. Take good care.

I will always be grateful to Ma for giving me a place to stay when I had no where to go. She even took my horse in! And I know I am one of the many people that Ma and Pa took in over the years. So many memories came back to me while I was thinking about how to compose this tribute. The home made bread and jam! The perfect cup of tea! The self propelled lawn mower with a mind of its own. Watching my horse from the kitchen table.
She will always have a special place in my heart and will be missed.
Thanks Ma.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mrs. Stiles. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness and welcoming nature. There was always a seat at their table for friends...but she always treated you like family. Such wonderful memories of her from as far back as my teenage years riding horses, up to recent years visiting her in the care home and going for coffee with her and Florence to talk about "good times". I will miss our visits. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Much love to you all. Ann Goodwin and family

My sincere condolences to the Stiles family over the loss of their precious mom, Ma Stiles (Dorothy). I have many wonderful memories of Dorothy, and those of her kind and gentle ways. She was so welcoming no matter who you were, and always had time for you. The door was always open along with plenty of coffee and special eats. She was an angel. May you celebrate such a wonderful and hardworking life and be proud to be a part of her legacy. Her children were her life and she loved her entire family unconditionally. May you find peace and so much love as she embarks on her next journey. Sending love to you all.

Ma and Pa took me under their wing between 1980-1982 when I came to Brandon to study psych nursing. I was just a young lady then from New Brunswick in love with horses. Their daughter Lynda connected me up with her mom and dad and all the horses they had at that time. I hung out with them a lot cleaning stalls, riding horses, and working at Circle S at Clear Lake. Fun times. Fond memories of a time so long ago! Always felt loved and supported by Ma- Dorothy. She is one of the great ladies of my life. And I am so honoured to have known her. Rest easy Ma! Will see you in Dreamtime! Karen (Wilson) Brinkman
