Obituary of Mary Kluckman

Mary Leonora Kluckman of Eugene died of age-related causes at age 85. She was born on August 25, 1925 in McCloud, California to parents, Harry & Thelma Eagles Bender. She graduated from Dunsmuir High School in 1943 and went to work for Southern Pacific Railroad. Her career in maintenance and clerical positions at the railroad continued for over 40 years. In 1944 she married Russell Wayne Rauch and the union produced a son, Russell Wayne Jr., born October 26, 1945 and a daughter, Laura Theresa, born November 14, 1949. After the marriage failed she married Julio J. Rossetto, February 20, 1954, this union produced daughters Celeste Regina on August 29, 1955 and Dianne Sue on January 1, 1957. After the death of Julio she married Neal K. Kluckman and they had one son, Paul Harry born September 5, 1966. Mary's family was always her first priority. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and sports. She was a member of Coburg UMC and belonged to the Women's group and had a wonderful group of friends. She especially loved University of Oregon Sports and attended games until the last two years. The Ducks brought her much joy. She will be missed greatly, especially her quick wit, sense of humor and unconditional love. Mary is survived by her daughters: Terry Seabury from Sacramento; Dianne Rossetto from Sacramento; Celeste Rossetto Dickey from Eugene; and Paul Kluckman from Solvang, California. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis Bender Hubbard from Chico, California. She has 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Her son, Russell Rauch Jr. preceded her in death.
