Edith and Daun, so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. We saw her regularly at Saturday 4pm mass. When we walked in before mass, she would often look at our son and say "There's my boy!" Always brought a smile to our faces. She was so friendly and kind-hearted. May she Rest In Peace.

Condolences to each and every family member and families. Your mom and grandmother was, like someone said, "a little but mighty" soul.
A sensitive heart. A praying spirit. A loving sister to aunt Min.
Rest and Peace and Presence are her gifts now. For herself.
And peace a wish of hers for family.
Like her older sister Martine said to her children before she left this world, I lovingly share here because they are words of wisdom.
""Take care of each other;
pray for each other"
Wisdom words they always be.

Ma Petite Tante Jeannette, no longer by my side but FOREVER in my heart. You were one of many aunties to A LOT of us but to me you were more like a Mom, you & I used to joke about how I was your ninth child, and you always treated me like I was. I will always remember how happy you were to see me whenever you & Uncle Lorne came to visit. The times we went to weddings & we would dance to « Wasn't That a Party » by The Irish Rovers. That song will always make me think of you because that was our song. Thank you for always being there for me, for all the time we spent together and for being such an enormous part of my life. May you finally Rest In Peace and I know Uncle Lorne will be waiting for you, up in Heaven, to dance with you again.
To My Dear Cousins, I'm so sorry Aunt Jeannette is gone. You were always so much more, you were like siblings to me. So knowing what you were going through the last few days, I was always thinking of you, wanting to reach out to let you know but not wanting to bother you. You were always so good to your Mom always doing things for her, you all loved her so much & she you. She was so lucky to have you as her children, especially the last few days of her life. You protected her; kept her comfortable; prayed for her; and; made sure she wasn't alone when she passed. I know she knew you were there doing what you could & she will be eternally grateful.
She will be our Angel from now until we are able to be with her again. I loved her so much. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

I have known Jeannette for about 40 years now. Jeannette attended daily Mass at either St. Augustine's Church or St. Michael's Academy. Her grandson came with her for several years. I knew her to be a person of deep faith who prayed for everyone, including priests. She would frequently phone me to ask how I was doing and to inform me of how life was with her. She sent me a card for my birthday in April, shortly before she began to fail, so it was a surprise to me how quickly her earthly life came to an end. God blest Jeannette with a peaceful death; one that we can only hope and pray for ourselves. Her sisters, Sister Laetitia & Sister Gabriel were both devout Religious who had a strong impact on my life. I have and will continue to offer Masses for the repose of her soul. May she now be safe in the arms of Jesus. Father Dominic Yuen
