Obituary of Marilyn Smith

Marilyn E. Smith of Eugene died Jan. 27 of age-related causes at age 85.She was born Aug. 20, 1925, in Coos Bay, to Arthur and Lillian Thorwald Daigle. She married Graydon Smith on March 14, 1948, in Coos Bay.She graduated from Marshfield High School.She was employed as a bookkeeper for Bay Motors in Coos Bay and also for Neuman-Strong Jeep/Volkswagen in Springfield.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lee and Bradley, both of Eugene; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A private family entombment at West Lawn Memorial Gardens is planned. Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
