Obituary of Adele Farley

Adele FarleySPRINGFIELD — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Adele Louise Farley of Springfield, who died Jan. 21 of age-related causes. She was 76.She was born May 30, 1934, in Los Angeles to Carl and Alice Hammerli Clapper. She married Walter Farley on May 24, 1953, in Los Angeles.A high school graduate, she worked as a secretary, retail worker, homemaker and hospital medical records clerk.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diane Farley of Eugene; a son, Glenn of LaQuinta, Calif.; two sisters, Jacque Velzy of Quartz Hill, Calif., and Ruth Baker of Garland, Texas; and two grandchildren. A daughter, Loretta “Lori” Bailey, died Aug. 12, 2007.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Diabetes Foundation.
