Obituary of Reamer Bolz

Reamer BolzReamer Augustus Bolz of Eugene died Jan. 26 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 90. The funeral and burial will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, in Dusty, Wash.He was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Somers, Mont., to Augustus and Nora Taylor Bolz. He married Margaret Krim on June 12, 1948, in Spokane.He held a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Washington State University. He served with the 10th Mountain Division during World War II and later in the Army Reserve Special Forces, Green Beret, as a major. He worked as superintendent for the rail welding plant for Union Pacific Railroad.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Chris of Eugene and Robin of Sammamish, Wash.; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene and Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax, Wash.
