Obituary of Barbara Brothers

Barbara May Brothers of Eugene died Feb. 8 of age-related causes at age 87. No service is planned.She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Eureka, Calif., to Elmer and Mabel Martz Mathews. She married Evan E. Brothers on June 26, 1948, in Grants Pass. He died Sept. 28, 1997.She earned a master’s degree in entomology and was a homemaker.Arrangements by Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene.
