Obituary of Richard Wicks

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Richard Fredrick Wicks of Eugene, who died Feb. 9 of heart failure. He was 67. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.He was born Jan. 27, 1944, in Laramie, Wyo., to Raymond and Lillian Arndt Wicks. He married Donna Morgan on Feb. 16, 1986, in Eugene. She died Feb. 5, 2000.He graduated from South Eugene High School. He served in the Army. He owned Rich’s Dug Out Tavern and worked at Trus Joist and Premier Distributing.Survivors include three daughters; Liz Parks of Eugene, Timra MacLean of Beaverton and Trina Franklin of Pleasant Hill; a son, Brian of Eugene; two brothers, Raymond of Eugene and Dennis of Junction City; a sister, Teresa Atkinson of Eugene; and seven grandchildren.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
