Obituary of Sarah Brand

Sarah BrandA private memorial service will be held for Sarah “Sally” Brand of Eugene, who died Feb. 18 of age-related causes. She was 78.She was born March 17, 1932, in Oakland, Calif., to Travis and Dorothy Carter Tyrrell.She graduated from Lewis & Clark College and worked as an advertising traffic controller for KVAL-TV for 15 years.Survivors include three sons, Jon, Patrick and Bill, all of Eugene; a sister, Joyce Nelson of Salem; a brother, Jim Tyrrell of Orcas Island, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuaries in Eugene.
