Obituary of Lucille Geib

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Lucille E. Geib of Junction City, who died Feb. 14 following a heart attack. She was 81.She was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Hansboro, N.D., to Clarence and Eleanore Fell Thomas. She married William Geib on April 5, 1947, in St. John, N.D. He died previously.She was a homemaker.Survivors include two daughters, Mary Stewart of Shelton, Wash., and Helen Hughes of Eugene; a sister, Betty Strutz of Harrisburg; a brother, Dean Thomas of Salem; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A son, Micheal Geib, died previously.Burial will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. Remembrances to the Junction City Fire and Rescue.
