Obituary of Henrietta Geschwender

MONROE — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. April 9 at the Eugene Yacht Club for Henrietta Geschwender of Monroe, who died Feb. 15 of age-related causes. She was 99.She was born Nov. 3, 1911, in Patton, Pa., to John and Sarah Williams Kelsall. She married James Geschwender in 1955 in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He died June 27, 1987.She graduated from high school and beauty school and was a beautician in Niagara Falls for more than 50 years.Survivors include a daughter, Blanche Chase of Monroe; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A stepson, James Geschwander, died previously.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
