Obituary of Dollie McEldowney

JUNCTION CITY — Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at West Lawn Funeral Home for Dollie May McEldowney of Junction City, who died Feb. 19 of cancer complications. She was 70.A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 12, at the Eugene Eagles Lodge.She was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Van Alstyne, Texas, to Charles and Lettie Watts Eggleston. She married Lyle McEldowney on June 3, 1968, in Sparks, Nev. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; two stepsons, Steven McEldowney of Prineville and Terry Peterson of Bend; four sisters, Orien McAlister of Durant, Okla., Opal Thompson of Junction City, Ola Jennings of Sherman, Texas, and Ruby Marks of Springfield; eight stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.Remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
