Obituary of Ross Line

The funeral willbe at 1 p.m. Friday, February 25, at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home for Ross L. Line of Springfield who died February 18 of age-related causes. He was 91.Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 1p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.He was born June 20, 1919, in Eddyville, Nebraska, to Renne and Lula Henderson Line. He married Agnes McFarland on May 1, 1946, in Eddyville. She died February 24, 2009.He graduated from High School in Eddyville in 1938 and served in the Army in the 75th Division Engineers during World War II. He workedat Giustina Brothers Lumber company for 35 years.Survivors inclide four sons, William of Jefferson, Robert of Yachats, Thomas of Eugene and Mark of Springfield; a daughter, Mary Parish of Maui, Hawaii; a brother, Robert of Lewiston, Idaho; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
