Marion LamarCRESWELL — The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at the Church of the First Born in Goshen for Marion Arthur Lamar of Creswell, who died Feb. 27 at age 74.The family chose not to list the cause of death.He was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Moody, Texas, to Clyde and Ruth Taylor Lamar. He married Dolly Porter on June 22, 1957 in McKinleyville, Calif.He worked as a millwright at the L.P. Redwood Planing Mill in Semoa, Calif.Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick of Rio Linda, Calif.; a daughter, Tammy Seat of Springfield; two brothers, David of Elk City, Idaho, and Clyde of West Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Linda Rader of Clarkston, Wash.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.Burial will follow the service at Creswell Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
